Yin Yoga Teacher Training – A smooth transition between Yin & Yang Yoga

Yin & Yang are two sides of reality that exist in the world of duality. It is a continual, interplay of opposing forces that keeps the entire universe in balance and harmony.

The Yellow Emperor said ''The principle of Yin and Yang is the foundation of the entire universe. It underlies everything in creation. It brings about the development of parenthood; it is the root and source of life and death. It is found with the temples of the gods. In order to treat and cure diseases one must search for their origins.

Likewise, Yin-Yang Yoga seeks to create a balance to yoga practice. We need both Yin and Yang yoga to experience relaxation and muscular contraction, surrendering and pursuit, letting go and letting be. In the path of integration, we look at the ways where you can transit from Yin to Yang. The transition is smooth and seamless. It seeks to support each practice by looking at using one to prepares the other. This is developed out of the understanding of yin-yang continual interplay. In addition, it also allows more creativity to be built into the practice.

About Victor Chng

Victor has been practicing and teaching yin yoga since 2004 when he met his teacher Paul Grilley. He drew his influence from various styles of yoga from classical to modern yoga systems. His style is goal oriented and precise. He believes that yoga should have both elements of Yin & Yang to bring the body, energy and mind to balance. Only by experiencing the two extremes will one be able to come back to the “centre”. Therefore, Victor emphasizes on being aware of the changes that take place in the practice and being in the moment. Victor is well-known in Asia for his dedication and passion in yin yoga.
