Doxycycline is a molecule of the cyclin family that works as an antibiotic by slowing the growth of bacteria in the body. It is a semi-synthetic tetracycline that was developed in the early 60s by Pfizer Inc. and marketed under the name Vibramycin, approved by the FDA in 1967. It was the first broad-spectrum daily antibiotic created and proved to be effective against intracellular bacteria.
Synthroid is a replacement for a hormone that is normally produced by your thyroid gland to regulate the body's energy and metabolism. Synthroid is given when the thyroid does not produce enough of this hormone on its own. Synthroid treats hypothyroidism (low thyroid hormone). ARICEPT (donepezil HCl) is a prescription medicine to treat mild Alzheimer’s disease (up to 10 mg/day) and moderate to severe Alzheimer’s disease (up to 23 mg/day).
